If i download a.zip file from a web browser and save it in the download folder kodi 20.2 does not appear in the download folder when i go to install from zip file, it's like there is nothing in the folder where i would have just saved a.zip too How can i fix this issue? My server (dvbviewer) is on a separate pc, and it does take a while to start up if i reboot the server
That's inevitable, everything can't just start instantaneously Kodi is connected to the same network as the nas but i am unable to add the nas as a source for my videos and music So by the sound of it you need to either delay starting kodi until your backend is up and running (which could be done by changing line 2 of the script) or start kodi with pvr disabled
Personally i don't like my pvr clients.
I’m a bit confused about a dlna server I know you can run some on a nas like plex or jellyfin I thought kodi could be a server but some say no it’s a player Is it a server and if so how would one use it

I was using kodi with pleasure with previous webos versions but today i just updated my television ( 65g26la) to new version ( 23.20.56) and noticed that kodi is not working anymore
I deleted it and installed again from homebrew store but results didn't change I wanted inform you and also. But while playing any show or movie, audio stops at every 10mins or so and the video continues Only way to bring back the audio is to go back and reopen the same show and forward to last watched position
Any idea how to fix it? Wow i take back what i originally stated in this message I just checked in with the latest version and tried the detailed information option The skin is perfect now just the way i was hoping to use it

I enabled debug logging and pressed the page down/up keys which moved. I have kodi installed on an nvidia shield and i am trying to link it to the nas (synology ds916+)
