Aleks has 3 ace approved stats courses (intro to stats, business stats, & stats for behavioral sciences.) they're pretty much the same course, some of the questions are worded differently (the business courses use business examples in the word problems and so on.) the transcript will come from ace, so if you school will accept ace credit courses, you should be good, i'd check with them first. The aleks theory is that it just naturally expands one’s math understanding without really needing lectures/detailed explanations, using an artificial intelligence engine to keep presenting kids with the “next step” of math
