For the record, in discussions of what maximally sized water bottles fit into water bottle pockets of bags, it’s usually details about the size and shape of the cap that can make the difference, rather than the diameter of the bottle. Is there something that fits securely in the water bottle pocket and won't fall out immedtiately upon breaking out into anything more than a brisk walk? Nalgene 1l / 32 oz water bottle (i think i'll need to downsize if i want to use the water bottle pocket though), 4

Snacks (protein bars, etc.) 7 I just had my poland spring water bottle fall out of my id for the 90th time A small first aid kit (bandaids, headache and stomach meds, alcohol wipes) 8

A a5 notebook or 2, 10

Since we don't want to buy water all day long, i'll want to have refillable water bottle (s) for the whole family with me I'd be carrying a 14 hp laptop, charger, two iphones, chargers, headphones (ideally both beats studio in a case and airpods), ereader, wallet/passport/keys, a few small snacks, and a water bottle (ideally my yeti 18oz rambler or owala 32oz freesip). When i travel with a water bottle, i make sure it's visible, and not zipped up and out of view Typically, i'll actually unload it from my pack and lay it in the plastic bin, along with my electronics

If you're worried that they might ask about whether it's empty, you might consider doing likewise, but removing the cap so it's obvious. I'm getting a synapse 25, and i'm thinking about getting a nicer water bottle, namely the kleen kanteen wide 27oz Can anyone with experience on this tell me if that bottle will fit well in the synapse's bottle pocket? The front zipper organisation is deceivingly big but thats because its been designed very well

I can't however fit my usual 40oz double insulated flask in the dedicated water bottle pocket so i put it in the mainly compartment

Funnily enough, this water bottle won't fit in the the synick 30 water bottle pocket either because the two bags two top 4 zipper packets areas have the same height! There are carabiner clips which fit a water bottle attachment I don't know if there are ones thin enough to fit into the attaching points and strong enough to hold more than a small bottle Maybe tom could design a webbing that clips on the upper and lower attaching point which could secure a water bottle holder similar to the quiver.

The newer embrava water bottles look very good Btw, for hot liquids like coffee, for trips or in the pack for use on the summit of a 14er in the cold winter, the zojirushi 16 oz and liter thermos bottles cannot be beat!
