The shark teeth from bakersfield are quite special I am looking at taking my boys 8 and 15 and girlfriend to the peace river for some fossil and shark tooth hunting. Oftentimes when i pull colorful teeth out of the ground, it's hard to tell how they end up looking after oxidizing over a few days, but will try to post a tooth called zephyr shortly, it's got a really rich dusk purple on the labial side even after oxidizing.

My past two trips to ramanessin brook in holmdel, nj have been especially productive Resulting in much larger teeth and much more diverse finds, ramanessin has proven to be a much better spot than big brook for me
