Hi all, i am having trouble updating my vw sd card to update my discover media sat nav

Initially i downloaded the discovercare program and inserted my sd card, which detected the card, ran the program but had issues creating a backup So looking at the forums i downloaded the 7zip file and copie. I was doing the vw update method straight onto the sd card for the pro version but then vw always rolls that out after the traditional method of doing it On that basis i stopped using the discoverycare approach

You had to update the software for each round of map releases which was pretty stupid The household has the seat flavour of discover media and pro, same generic files
