I'm trying to use chunk base to locate some biome New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Somwhow the map it shows is completely different from the map i'm playing
Could someone also check if its just me or chunk base is having some issue I'm playing all the mods 6 skyblock and when i set the seed into chunk base it says i'm in a forest but minecraft says mountains, or is there another website i should use Minecraft java 1.20 (not large biomes)
Check to make sure your coordinates are correct and be sure that if you are negative coordinates you input as a negative number in chunk
For best results, visit new chunks Make sure that you're selecting the correct game edition, version, and seed in chunkbase when viewing the map Again, this can be tricky for existing worlds as you need to select the version that was used to generate the chunk If you're visiting new chunks then select the version you're currently playing.
It takes a little bit of math to do it manually, or below, i've left you some cheat sheets, where you can find the link to chunk base so you can easily find chunks and their borders, and below that, a list of all the subchunk y levels Well, he/she either find out the seed algorithm or he/she used some open source libs for it Chunkbase even had diamond and ancient debris finder and only ~2 weeks ago, someone found the mathematical way to find diamonds in rivers and swamps (swamps never work for me btw) Or chunkbase owner was able to extract the world generation from minecraft.jar and just uses it in the backend
Chunkbase giving wrong coordinates for strongholds and mines
Worked fine for a different seed world i have (htough i haven't used. I just got called a cheater for using chunk base to locate a specific biome in my world There's alot of things i consider cheating that i wouldn't personally do in my survival world (others are free to do as they like of course) but i really don't see an issue with using chunk base to locate biomes, slimechunks or even structures Just wondering what people on here think about it.
Just putting this out there I'm currently using it with a world that was generated only about two weeks ago I'm currently at coordinates that chunkbase claims is a desert, but it is definitely an ocean I've checked the seed again and again, and it was accurate for a couple other things
Soooo idk what's going on with that, but it's definitely wildly inaccurate here.
Using chunk base to find end cities and noticed a massive purple circle not centred on but with its side next to 0,0 (ie the bedrock portal) Not rly bothering me but was just wondering if anyone knows what it is? Is there any way i can use chunkbase with boime mods
