Even though the ui in blackboard is ages behind canvas, it is functionally better than canvas I'm wondering how much data they can actually see, or if it was just a scare tactic. Canvas has some serious gaps in its basic functionality, and there is at least one server outage a week.

Right now wild cards allow blackboard to be activated, which is weird cause If we consider a wild card a card with all suits at the same time, they are indeed spades/club cards, but also diamonds/hearts, so blackboard should not activate. Forgive me if i am late to the game on this, but i just learned today that if students open an assignment submission page on blackboard (lms) before the due date, they can still submit after the due date as long as that page is still open (although blackboard will denote the lateness by placing the word “late” next to the submission time) I have had so many assignments turned in late in.
