I ran into this issue on win10 too After uninstalling and reinstalling 7.1.4 and 7.1.6 numerous times, i found a solution Uninstall 7.1.4 ext pack first, before upgrade to 7.1.6
Then after upgrade install 7.1.6 ext pack
This way i successfully upgraded to 7.1.6 on win10, avoiding these three issues (install fatal error, usb proxy service not found, and supr3hardenedwinrespawn kernel driver.
